Q: Can you return an item after you get it made?

All handmade items are final sale and cannot be returned. If there is a sizing issue we will do our best to accommodate your needs and do an exchange within reason on any unworn and new items. 

Q: Where is your jewelry made?

A: Every piece is handcrafted and made on the island of Kauai.

 

Q: What is Gold Filled?

A: Gold filled is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors.

 

Q: Where are your tahitian pearls from?

The Black Tahitian Pearls come directly to Kauai from a family's pearl farm in the Tuamotu islands of Tahiti.

 

Q: What is a wire gauge?

Wire gauge is a measurement for how large a wire is. The higher the number, the thinner the wire. For example, 16 gauge wire is much thinner that 12 gauge wire. 

 

Q. What is a Sunrise Shell?

These unique and rare shells are deep sea scallops that are endemic only to the Hawaiian islands. Each shell will be completely different from the other,  making your shell truly one of a kind.  

 

Q. What is a Puka Shell?

Puka Shells are what is left of a cone shell after its been tumbled in the ocean waves and currents for many many years.  They are the biggest part of the cone shell that is left, the part with the "puka" left in the middle.  "Puka" in Hawaiian means Hole, and so the shell that was found all over the beaches, the shell with the hole in the middle, Got its name "Puka".
